For clients wanting to work online or if you are living outside of California, in the United States or abroad, I offer online coaching for both couples and individuals to help with your relationships.
Coaching is different from therapy in that we target specific concerns and work to find solutions to your problems. It’s a good alternative for those who want the flexibility for their sessions or for the short term. It’s also beneficial for those who have a solid inner work practice, such as a journaling or meditation practice, or have taken psychologically-focused e-courses, and are looking to complement it with one-on-one sessions.
It’s been proven that online services are equally as effective as in person. And in some cases, better suited.
That said, coaching is not for those in a mental health crisis, such as struggling with suicidal thoughts, or with an active, untreated addiction. It is also not recommended for couples where there has been or currently is partner violence.
If you feel like online coaching would be a good fit for you, during our first session we will spend some time exploring if it makes sense for us to work together. If I feel like you might need more support, I will work to source in-person therapy referrals.
As I am located in Los Angeles, I may not be able to provide an exhaustive list, but will be able to point you in the right direction.
Sessions are held over HIPAA-compliant, secure web-based conferencing.
